Belly Dance Level 1 Beginner 8-week session, $72.00 (that's only $9 per class!!!)
Belly Dance is one of the oldest and most evolved forms of dance in the world. Stretch and tone your body while you learn this ancient and beautiful feminine art! The movements of belly dance will sculpt and firm your body, while increasing your stamina and grace, all without stress and fatigue. Belly Dance also promotes weight loss by burning calories, building muscle, and stimulating your digestive system. Class will include warm-up, basic moves, techniques and choreography. All Goddess Hour Belly Dance instructors are Teacher Certified and many have studied in Egypt! All ages and body types welcome...check your inhibitions at the door!

After 3 sessions of Belly Dance I, you're ready for the next level! This class builds upon the skills learned in Level I, focusing on improving your technique while teaching you more advanced moves.

Belly Dance Level 3 Advanced 8-week session, $72.00 (that's only $9 per class!!!)
At the invitation of your teacher, you're ready for the next level! This class builds upon the skills learned in Levels 1 and 2, focusing on performance skills, in-depth cultural and historical studies and individual technique correction and drills. Choreography will not be taught in this class.

Tribal-Fusion Belly Dance with Deirdre 5-week session, $50.00
Come enjoy Rochester's only Tribal Style Belly Dance class! Get an amazing core-strengthening work-out learning slow and faster tribal style belly dance movements and combinations. This feminine, earthy and powerful dance style will have you improvising with other dancers, learning gorgeous formations and creating a wonderful group of supportive new friends! You will be warmly welcomed in this fantastic class! No previous dance experience needed.

Art of Pole Dancing (5-week session $60.00)
You've been asking for it, Ladies! Goddess Hour brings you pole dancing for fitness and overall booty-shakin' fun! Join Brenda, Sheila, Annie, AJ, Heather, Kat and Tabby for the most empowering 60-minutes you'll have all week. They'll guide you through luxurious stretches, unique pole mounts, intimate routines designed to give you the ultimate fitness experience. Learn to express your inner goddess in a safe, supportive class designed for every woman, regardless of shape and age. All you need is to bring some heels and your sense of adventure! Goddess Hour hosts top-of-the-line poles and stages to give you that nightclub atmosphere. - 18 and older please. Please wear work-out shorts, no longer than mid-thigh. Please do not wear jewelry on fingers, toes and wrists. Hand lotions can be slippery - skip those prior to class.

Advanced Pole Class (5-week session $70.00)
This class will continue to build and refine technique with complex spins, mounts and dance elements as well as inversions. Improvisation techniques will be taught to advance skills in dance. There will be a 15 minute optional practice session at the end of each class. 18 and older please. Please wear work-out shorts, no longer than mid-thigh. Please do not wear jewelry on fingers, toes and wrists. Hand lotions can be slippery - skip those prior to class. Intermediate II class is a prerequisite. Building ariel and static combos.

Hip-Hop (4-week session $40.00 or $12.00 drop-in)
It is back at Goddess Hour and better than ever! Come join us for a special high-energy Hip-Hop class that will have you bustin-a-move to modern hip hop beats in no time. The class will include a warm-up, technique, as well as choreography that will work for the beginner or the intermediate level. By the end of the course, you'll have cool new dance routines from some popular songs to take with you. Be the one that everyone else is watching in amazement! No prior dance experience necessary - this is all about fun!

Rochester is on the verge of another exercise movement... strip aerobics. That's right! Exotic dancing is the new trendy way to lose weight, tone muscles and increase self-esteem. But don’t let the name fool you; the only thing we’ll take off in this class is calories! Get ready to sweat and have fun. (18 and over). No need to preregister - join in anytime.
 
Art of Exotic Dancing for Fun & Fitness Chair Dance (4-week session $50.00)
Put some "Va" into your "Voom!". This class will prove to be sexy, sassy and FUN!. In Art of Exotic learn to hone your skills as a Goddess as Brenda will teach you movements to use for seduction, fun and fitness! After 5-weeks, you'll have a full choreography to take home and show off if you are so inclined! Treat yourself to a super-fun girls-night-out - just for you!!!!

Hula Hoop Class- Introduction to Hooping
Saturdays 11:00-11:45am and Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 pm

Not your mother's Hula Hoop! These are the next generation hoops - built so the rotation is slow enough that even the most uncoordinated of us can keep it up and moving! Want to take part in the latest exercise craze to hit the East Coast, and one that has the potential to burn 110 calories in less than 10 minutes?! You'll groove to the funkiest tunes, toning your core with the hypnotic motion of the hoop! Student hoops provided for each class and are available for purchase. No dance or hoop experience needed!

Hula-Hoop Class - Intermediate with Jill
Thursdays 6:00-7:00 ($30.00 for 3-week session or $12 drop-in)
Barrel Roll Series - In this 3 week session Jillery Hoops will teach you a variety of barrel rolls with the hoop. From traditional barrel rolls on the vertical plane or 45% angle to several isolation barrel rolls that you can incorporate into your personal hoop dance. You will walk away with expert instruction on the mechanics of each move and personalized drills you can practice on your own.

Yoga with Cindy - Saturdays and Thursdays ($60.00 for 6-week session or $12 drop-in)

Unwind after a long day, and do something special for yourself! Cindy Edington, a certified yoga-fit instructor, and AFAA certified fitness professional will help you build strength, flexibility and balance in your life through a blend hatha, ashtanga and iyengar yoga.
The classes are designed for all levels. Warm and welcoming modifications are shown so that each individual can enjoy the experience on his or her own terms. Drop-in anytime!

Refund Policy
In the event you need to cancel your reservation for a session class prior to the start date of the class, a full monetary refund is given. After the class is in session, you are welcome to make up your missed belly dance or pole class another evening during the current session. Goddess Hour cannot refund or extend credit for unused classes during any session.
